The Flunsås area

The Flunsås area in Lundby is a green area that links the Kvillebäcken area in the east to Flunsåsparken in the west. It also links new residential areas to more established areas. During the coming years, the area will be upgraded with a new preschool, a football pitch with artificial grass, and a district park with allotments and play areas. There will also be ample opportunity for activity and relaxation.

In spring 2018, the old dirt football pitch will be replaced by a new pitch with artificial grass. A large part of the park will then be renovated based on the wishes that emerged as part of the public consultation process for the new district park.

In an effort to meet the increased need for preschool places in Lundby, a new preschool will be built in the Flunsås area.

The park, which will be known as Fjärdingsparken, will have a variety of new meeting places, along with allotments, playground amenities and pedestrian and cycle paths.
